Sunday Junior League

The Junior program is for youth ages 8-18. We play every Sunday from 10:00am to 12:30 pm starting on October 19th, 2025 and conclude March 22nd, 2026.  The program could be divided into ages 12 and under for new curlers who haven't curled and age 12/13 to 18 for new and experienced curlers.  This will be dependant on numbers registered in the program.  The program includes weekly on ice instruction and practice time before a weekly game.  The juniors practice their curling skills and play in an organized game earning points towards awards at the end of the season.   

On the last Sunday of curling before the Christmas break we have our annual Christmas Family Fun Spiel on December 14th, 2025.  This is where the Juniors have the opportunity to curl with their parents/family members against other Juniors and their families.  This is a fun day with 2 games lunch/treats/ on/off ice activities and prizes at the end of the day.  On this day Santa or one of his Elves have been known to stop by our club to wish all Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

We have an end of season bonspiel held on the last Sunday of curling on March 22/2026 for the curlers only.  They will be awarded with trophies and prizes from all the points earned curling during the season. 

There is also competitive teams in our junior section as well who do compete throughout the area in interclub leagues, bonspiels and competitions.  Something to strive for!

Curlers must wear curling shoes or clean indoor running shoes with rubber soles. 
No outdoor footwear will be permitted on the ice.
