October Learn to Curl

New for 2026!  October Sunday LTC - 9 Weeks.

Have you always wanted to try curling without committing to a full season?  Here is your chance!  PCC is offering 9 weeks of Sunday curling beginning October 18 and running weekly until December 20.  

Learn to Curl is a fun, social league where you can learn about the great sport of curling and meet new friends.  Whether you're 18 or 80, use a wheelchair or have tricky knees and back we’ll show you how to turn curling into your winter sport.  Don’t let this be another winter of just watching it on TV!

Our experienced instructors will teach you the basic techniques of slide delivery, standing delivery using a stick or delivery from a wheelchair. You’ll also learn the basic rules , etiquette and strategy through on ice exercises.  At Sunday LTC we believe you learn best by doing, our aim is to maximize on ice learning.Whatever way you choose to curl PCC can provide all the equipment you’ll need - sliders, grippers, brooms, delivery sticks and wheelchairs.

Instruction is once a week on Sundays from 1:00pm to 3:00 PM. Don’t worry if you miss a Sunday, there is plenty of opportunity to catch up. There will be no class November 8.  Registration is limited to 24 students to allow for lots of personalised instruction.

The cost is $210 for the 9 weeks with an opportunity to curl the second half of the season (January to March) for an additional $185.

An 11 week LTC course will also be offered on Sundays starting in January and a full season LTC course is available on Thursday evenings.
