PCC's Sr. Ice Technician 2026/27 Season -  Anthony Hale

Before the start of each season:

Check your grippers!  If your grippers are dropping black rubber pieces on the ice it's time to replace them.  It is recommended grippers be replaced every year.

If you have new grippers it is recommended to wash them with a warm, soapy cloth to help remove the oildy residue on them & provide maximum grip.

Check your broom head!  If it's dirty give it a scrub or replace the cloth or replace the entire broom head.

Check out this video about grippers
